5/25/2022 The West Virginia Board of Accountancy filed a Notice of Public Comment with the West Virginia Secretary of State's Office on May 12, 2022. The Board has proposed a Legislative Rule change to its Series 1 Rule - Board of Accountancy Board Rules and Rules of Professional Conduct.
3/13/2020 Should it become necessary to close State Offices in an attempt to prevent further spread of the virus, Board staff have made arrangements to work remotely from their homes. On a limited basis, we will be able to answer any questions via email or through the Contact Us form on the Board’s web site. Board staff will also have the capability to process CPA Exam, licensure and firm applications, as well as Intents-to-sit and CPE Reporting Forms.
1/10/2022 2021 CPE Report Reminders
The 2021 CPE Reporting reminder correspondence was distributed to all Active licensees on November 18, 2021.
You may access the online CPE Reporting Form at: https://www.boa.wv.gov/renewals/cpe/index.asp . The form is now open year-round in order to accommodate those licensees who would like to utilize the online reporting form as a CPE tracker tool. The online form allows you to log your CPE courses as you obtain them throughout the calendar year. Please remember to use the “Save for Later” feature and not the “Submit” feature, until you have a fully completed report and are ready for your CPE hours to be processed by Board staff. Processing of all CPE reports begins in early January and will continue through April 15th.
If you have questions concerning this issue, please contact our CPE Coordinator at Stefani.D.Young@wv.gov .
