CPA Evolution is just around the corner and the West Virginia Board of Accountancy is preparing for the significant changes to the Uniform CPA Examination®  (CPA Exam), which will take place in January 2024.  The online Intent to Sit (INTENT) form will be changing and will include the updated exam sections and disciplines.  Please, see below important dates from our office regarding Intent to Sit form.   

 

 

November 1, 2023 - Last day to apply to take the current BEC section (first time)

November 8, 2023 - Last day to apply to take BEC Section as a RE-Exam

November 27, 2023 - First day applications will be accepted for new CPA Exam disciplines (BAR, ISC, TCP).

 

It is anticipated that testing will commence on January 10, 2024, for all CPA exam test sections.  While the core sections (AUD, FAR and REG) will first be available for scheduling through March 26, 2024, in the first quarter of 2024, the discipline sections (BAR, ISC and TCP) will be available through February 6, 2024. Scores are anticipated to only be released once per test section per quarter due to necessary standard-setting analyses and activities.
