Intent to Sit for CPA Exam Application

The Intent-to-Sit (Intent) application is for individuals who have submitted an Application for Certified Public Accountant Examination and been approved to sit. The Intent allows an exam candidate to indicate which sections of the Exam he/she wishes to sit for within the current or next Exam window.

Third Party Fees include the fees charged by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Prometric Testing Centers.

Information provided on this Intent will be queued to NASBA later today.

Payment Coupon:
NASBA will generate a Payment Coupon to the e-mail address indicated in this Intent. If you have not received your Payment coupon within three (3) business days, please contact the Board office at (304) 558-3557. The Payment Coupon will expire six months after you receive it by e-mail. Once a Payment Coupon expires, you will need to submit another Intent and pay Board processing fees.

All paid fees are non-refundable and will not be credited to future testing windows. The Board will not refund or credit a fee due to unpreparedness or an unforgiving work schedule.

You must pay for all parts you have indicated you wish to sit for on this Intent in one transaction. In other words - if you desire to pay Third Party Fees for one part of the exam at a time, then only submit one Exam part today.) If a candidate pays the Third Party fees, but fails to schedule within six months, the candidate loses all fees paid and must start the Intent process again.
