At the July 19, 2013 meeting, the Board agreed to accept foreign transcripts evaluated by the NASBA International Evaluations Services (NIES).
NASBA International Evaluation Services are members of:

Evaluation and authentication of foreign credentials and transcripts involve comparison of the applicant's biographical information and educational history, verification of the accuracy of the English translation of a non-English credential, and determination of the authenticity of the credential. They also provide verification of the official status of the institution awarding the credential, determination of the level of the program represented as well as the determination of the equivalency of the credential. Grades, credits, or units are calculated to determine the suitability of the applicant to the admitting institution all in order to make the process easier for the interested applicant.
NIES only evaluates international education documents for CPA examination and licensure. They do not evaluate documents for admission to secondary or post-secondary admission or immigration purposes.
NIES provides 18 hours of customer service center support to candidates five days per week.
